Ok so you made a nice article or hilarious meme and you want to share it here but you don't know how. Hm, nothing happens, because after reading this article, you will be master in creating threads. Just make sure you follow our Terms & Rules and you are fine. Let's begin then:
To be able to create any thread, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must read and follow our Terms & Rules (They can be found at top of boards).
- You must be registered at this forum. If you aren't registered, simply click "Login or Register" button, which is located in the bottom left corner of the page header. If you are registered, your mini-avatar and "welcome" text should replace "Login" or "Register" buttons.
Different boards have different rules. Rules are usually displayed on top of boards so everyone can see them, even blind person.
Most of the categories have "labels". They are used to tag your thread with a specific thing. If you just made an article about birds, you should label it with "Animals" label. Different boards mean different labels, so don't forget to post your article or question to correct category. Tobee,l your post hit the "Settings" button (dropdown, wheel icon), "Labels" and then just click on a label.
If you want to ask us something, let me explain you first:
• Your question is public - Everyone can view it and reply to it.
• Do not post questions already answered or similar - Do research first!
• Try to aim your post to a category, that best fits it - Do not post "Technology" to "Nature". If you think this forum is missing a category, PM Kevo or make a suggestion.
• Other things are listed in rules, so read them as well.
If you still don't get, what is this "Custompedia", do you at least know Wikipedia or Quora and Reddit? It's similar, except our version is better. Why? Well, let me show you:
Quora is favorited place to ask, answer and share knowledge. It's one of the best places to do this, and it inspired us to create something similar.
Reddit is a popular website to AMA (Ask Me Anything) but it's hard to understand all the points, karmas, subreddits anddcreditss to newbies. It has a big user base ,but theanswerss are often short.
CustomWorld is an interesting place to ask or reply to questions. We have written helpful posts for newbies to easily understand, how it goes there, just like this one. We choose staff members carefully and we are very active. We often create "Staff Posts" to expand our "Custompedia". Custompedia is a place, where you can ask questions, and we try our best to bring you the best answers. We got a lot of categories and we support memes as well. We keep you informed about important news and in the end, we have ditched Quora with Wikipedia. CustomWorld, however, may not the best but it's an interesting way how to learn more throughout forums.
Don't forget to visit other guides at this board, such as Account Creation one! (https://customworld.boards.net/thread/25/account-creation-logging)
So, what's your move here now? We will be happy if we will see you there again.
Sincerely, Kevo - Founder of CustomWorld.
